Buffalo, New York,on August 27,2015 at 10:00 A.M.for the following purpose:
To receive and take appropriate action on all items regarding:

The Common Council of the City of Buffalo does ordain as follows:
That part of Subdivision(A)of§35-9 of Chapter 35 of the Code of the City of Buffalo,relating to Salary and Wage Schedule"C",
PBA, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Note:Old Salaries are in brackets
This ordinance shall take effect as per the respective date on the attached schedule.
We, Byron W. Brown, Mayor and Mark J.F. Schroeder,Comptroller, pursuant of Section 24-15 of the Charter of the City of Buffalo,
hereby certify that contingent upon prior or concurrent action to provide and authorize funding thereof,the interests of the City will be
subserved by the change in compensation provided for the positions set forth in the foregoing ordinance.
This ordinance shall be effective July 1 2012.
It is hereby certified, pursuant to Section 3-19 of the Charter,that the immediate passage of the foregoing ordinance is necessary.
We, Byron W. Brown, Mayor, Daniel Derenda,Commissioner of Police, Mark J.F.Schroeder, Comptroller and Donna J. Estrich,
Commissioner of Administration, Finance, Policy and Urban Affairs,recommend that the compensation for said positions be fixed at
the respective mounts set forth in the foregoing ordinance.
Furthermore,we, Byron W. Brown, Mayor and Mark J.F.Schroeder, Comptroller, pursuant of Section 24-15 of the Charter of the City
of Buffalo, hereby certify that contingent upon prior or concurrent action to provide and authorize funding thereof,the interests of the
City will be subserved by the change in compensation provided for the positions set forth in the foregoing ordinance.

WAIVE FEES—BUFFALO CITY HOOPS
In the Common Council of The City of Buffalo,
On August,26,2015
Whereas,on August 29,2015, Buff City Hoops will host a basketball tournament at Masten Park;
Whereas,this organized sporting event will be a recreational outlet for young athletes in a safe,competitive, and good-natured
atmosphere;
Whereas,this event aims to promote education and violence prevention while developing positive life skills for the advancement of
our community;and
Whereas,the success of this event is contingent upon the assistance of community stakeholders, businesses,and
The City: Now,Therefore Be It Resolved that The City of Buffalo Common Council--
1)Shows its support for Buff City Hoops Basketball Tournament by approving the waiving of fees associated with the event that
would normally be levied by The City of Buffalo for use of all four(4)basketball courts at Masten Park on August 29,2015;
2)Intends that waived fees referred to in the previous resolve include but are not limited to park space rental, athletic facility permits,
refuse and recycling service, and special event fees;and
3)Directs staff to forward copies of this resolution to the Mayor's office of Special Events, Department of Permit and Inspection
Services,and Division of Parks and Recreation.
