Michaux, Ill City Clerk 1308 City Hall Buffalo, New York Dear Mr. Michaux: Pursuant to Section 30 of the Charter of the City of Buffalo, upon the written request of five Council Members of the City of Buffalo, dated May 5, 1994, presented to you herewith, I hereby call a Special Meeting of the Common Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Buffalo, New York, on May 6, 1994 at 9:00 a.m. for the following purpose: To receive and take appropriate action on a Certificate of Necessity for an increased appropriation and the resolution authorizing that increased appropriation for a Computer Aided Dispatch System for the Fire Department. Arthur President of the Common Council 1315 City Hall Buffalo, New York Dear Sir: WE, the undersigned, members of the Common Council, hereby request that you call a Special Meeting of the Common Council, pursuant to Section 30 of the Charter of the City of Buffalo, for the following purpose: To receive and take appropriate action on a Certificate of Necessity for an increased appropriation and the resolution authorizing that increased appropriation for a Computer Aided Dispatch System for the Fire Department. FAHEY DALE ZUCHLEWSKI hereby states that he/she received notice of the time and purpose of the Special Meeting of the Common Council duly called to be held on May 6, 1994 at 9:00 a.m. and hereby waives 24 hours' notice. Czajka, Clifford Bell to me known to be the same persons described in and who executed the foregoing instrument, and they duly and severally acknowledged to me that they executed the same. Commission expires 12/31/94 TO EACH MEMBER OF THE COMMON COUNCIL: YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that, pursuant to Section 30 of the Charter of the City of Buffalo, upon the written request of five Council Members, dated May 5, 1994 the HON. GEORGE K. ARTHUR, has a called a Special Meeting of the Common Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Buffalo, New York, on May 6, 1994 at 9:00 a.m. for the following purpose: To receive and take appropriate action on a Certificate of Necessity for an increased appropriation and the resolution authorizing that increased appropriation for a Computer Aided Dispatch System for the Fire Department. No. 2 Certificate Of Necessity Increased Appropriation Reserve for Capital Appropriations Department of Fire We, Anthony M. Masiello, Mayor and Joel A. Giambra, Comptroller, do hereby certify pursuant to Section 41 of the Charter, that an increase in the sum of $300,000 in the estimates for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1993 is necessary in Appropriation Allotments - Department of Fire to meet a contingency which could not have been reasonably foreseen when the budget was adopted. The amount of increased appropriation will be met from 100-890-050 - Fund Balance Reserve for Capital Budget Appropriations not otherwise appropriated for any other purpose. The detail of the requirements are set forth below: To: 100 General Fund 210 - Department of Fire 085 - Capital Outlay 982 - Operating Equipment $300,000 Dated: Buffalo, NY, May 5, 1994 RECEIVED AND FILED. No. 3 By: Mr. Collins Increased Appropriation Reserve for Capital Appropriations Department of Fire That, Pursuant to Section 41 of the Charter and the Certificate of the Mayor and the Comptroller submitted to the Common Council, the appropriation in the budget for the current fiscal year for Appropriation Allotments - Department of Fire be and the same hereby is increased in the sum of $300,000. That, the comptroller be and hereby is authorized and directed to transfer the sum of $300,000 from 100-890-050 - Reserve for Capital Budget Appropriations to meet this increased appropriation as set forth below: To: 100 General Fund 210 - Department of Fire 085 - Capital Outlay 982 - Operating Equipment $300,000 PASSED.
