No. 1 CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSION Mr. Charles L. Michaux, III City Clerk 1308 City Hall Buffalo, New York Dear Mr. Michaux: Pursuant to Section 30 of the Charter of the City of Buffalo, upon the written request of five Council Members of the City of Buffalo, dated June 28, 1991, presented to you herewith, I hereby call a Special Meeting of the Common Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Buffalo, New York, on July 1, 1991 at 10:30 a.m. for the following purpose: (1) To receive, consider and take appropriate action on Home Rule Message Senate No. 1955-A; Assembly No. 3057-A for discontinuance of parkland - Walden Park; (2) To receive, consider and take appropriate action on Home Rule Message Senate No. 2679-B; Assembly No. 4042-B for discontinuance of parkland -Sullivan Park. Arthur President of the Council 1315 City Hall Buffalo, New York Dear Sir: WE, the undersigned, members of the Common Council, hereby request that you call a Special Meeting of the Common Council, pursuant to Section 30 of the Charter of the City of Buffalo, for the following purpose: (1) To receive, consider and take appropriate action on Home Rule Message Senate No. 1955-A; Assembly No. 3057-A for the discontinuance of parkland -Walden Park; (2) To receive, consider and take appropriate action on Home Rule Message Senate No. 2679-B; Assembly No. 4042-B for the discontinuance of parkland -Sullivan Park. WE request that this Special Meeting be held on July 1, 1991 at 10:30 a.m. NORMAN BAKOS, JAMES W. BAKOS HOME RULE MESSAGE - ASSEMBLY BILL #3057-A; SENATE BILL #1955-A - AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF BUFFALO, COUNTY OF ERIE, TO DISCONTINUE THE USE OF CERTAIN PARKLANDS: WALDEN PARK WHEREAS: There has been a bill introduced in the Assembly, Bill #3057-A and in the Senate, Bill #1955-A; and WHEREAS: This Council has previously gone on record in support of these bills; and WHEREAS: These bills have been amended by both houses of the State Legislature; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That this Common Council goes on record in support of Assembly Bill #3057-A and Senate Bill #1955-A as amended by the State Legislature. ADOPTED. No.3 BY:MR. BAKOS HOME RULE MESSAGE - ASSEMBLY BILL #4O42-B; SENATE BILL #2679-B - AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF BUFFALO, COUNTY OF ERIE, TO DISCONTINUE THE USE OF CERTAIN PARKLANDS: SULLIVAN PARK WHEREAS: There has been a bill introduced in the Assembly, Bill #4042- B and in the Senate, Bill #2679-B and; WHEREAS: This Council has previously gone on record in support of these bills; and WHEREAS: These bills have been amended by both houses of the State Legislature; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That this Common Council goes on record in support of Assembly Bill #4O42-B and Senate Bill #2679-B as amended by the State Legislature.
