NO. 1 CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSION Mr. Charles L. Michaux, III City Clerk 1308 City Hall Buffalo, New York Dear Mr. Michaux: Pursuant to Section 3 9 of the Charter of the City of Buffalo, upon the written request of Five Councilmembers, dated April 16, 2003, presented to you herewith, I hereby call a Special Meeting of the Common Council, to be held in the Common Council Chambers, City Hall, Buffalo, New York, on the 16 day of April at 5:00 o'clock PM for the following purposes: To discharge from the Committee of the Whole, receive and take appropriate action on items relative to the Mayor's 2003 -2004 Recommended CDBG Budget. Pitts President Common Council 13 15 City hall Buffalo, New York Dear Sir: VVE, the undersigned, members of the Common Council, hereby request that you call a Special Meeting of the Common Council, pursuant to Section 30 of the Charter of the City of Buffalo, for the following purpose: To discharge from the COW receive and take appropriate action on items relative to the Mayor's 2003 -2004 Recommended CDBG Budget. Seconded by ADOPT DISCHARGE Mr. Coppola made a motion to adjourn for one hour until 8:15 PM. Seconded by Mr. Fontana. AYES - Coppola, Fontana, Franczyk, Golombek, Martino -4 NOES - Bonifacio, Davis, Fisher, Grant, Gray, Pitts, Thompson -7. LOST Mr. Bonifacio made a motion to adjourn to Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 9:00 AM. Seconded by Mrs. Martino. AYES- BONIFACIO, COPPOLA, FRANCZYK, MARTINO -4. LOST NO. 3 2003 -2004 RECOMMENDED CDBG BUDGET AS AMENDED BY ATTACHMENTS BY: Mr. Thompson AMENDMENTS TO YEAR 29 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved That: This Common Council does hereby amend the Mayor's Year 29 Community Development Block Grant with the attached amendments: Copy in City Clerk's Office.
